Celebrate Arts Education!

Join us for an afternoon of performances and art exhibits by area students from preschool through college.  See what young people accomplish through studying the arts. 

Enjoy the delightful sounds of the Rockford Symphony Youth Orchestra String Quartet and the Hillman School Singers "Singing in Style."  The Rockford Dance Company Dance Reach will get you "in the move" with a performance and Hip Hop workshop and the Multi-Cultural Dance Group will showcase Russian, Arabic and Ukrainian dances.

Try your hand at bubble prints and origami boxes presented by the Circles of Learning or enjoy an afternoon of hands on art activities creating Polish cut-outs presented by the Ethnic Heritage Museum. 

Area arts & cultural organizations and schools will have information on hand to acquaint the public with the numerous local opportunities for people of all ages to involve themselves in the arts. The Family Arts Festival demonstrates our conviction that the arts are for everyone and should be a part of every child's educations!
