This Spring, 304 Main will feature members of the Rockford Art Guild.
In 1955, a group of 10 area artists formed the Rockford Amateur Artists, whose mission was to hone their expertise and expand community awareness of and exposure to the visual arts. Rockford Art Guild (RAG), as it is now known, is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, governed by a board of directors selected by vote of the membership each year. The board is comprised of elected officers, including a President, Vice-president, Treasurer, Secretary, and appointed directors for Membership, Special Events, Show Coordinators, and additional directors as needed.
Exhibiting Artists include: Debra Mayer, Kathy Justis, Paula Marsh, Kat Heitzman, Tres Testolin, Michaela Foreman, John Naretta, Jean Apgar, Jill Martin-Golden, Dennis Dargel, Melinda Peterson-Fluiatt, Sandy Reavis, Deborah Sherman, Jerry Jacobs, Chris Newhart, David VanDelinder, Michelle Dahl, Ashley Phoenix, Michelle Koch, Leslie Thornsbury, Barb and Arne Larson, John Wemmer, and Beth Wemmer.
