I have been creating since childhood, with a primary focus on sewing, sculpting, and painting. Born and raised in Rockford, Illinois, I relocated to Schaumburg at age 18 to pursue formal training and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Fashion Design. Following my studies, I worked across multiple costume departments in theatre, television, and film, gaining extensive hands-on experience in professional production environments.
Over time, I found that the pace and structure of the television industry distanced me from the joy that initially drew me to making art, leading to a ten-year creative hiatus. I returned to my practice with renewed purpose, creating original garments and paintings and competing twice in Chicago’s Art Battle in 2026. My current work is intuitive and driven by emotion—whimsical, process-oriented, and intentionally unplanned. I create from a place of joy and self-discovery, allowing the work to unfold organically.
In parallel with my artistic practice, I became a Firefighter EMT in 2022 and am currently pursuing paramedic training. I am also a certified personal trainer and coach, maintaining a strong connection to movement, discipline, and personal growth.
