CRT – ART Grant
815 Community Response Team—Arts COVID-Response Awards
On behalf of the 815 Community Response Team, a collaboration of the Rockford Area Arts Council, the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois, the Kjellstrom Family Foundation, the Northern Illinois Center for Nonprofit Excellence (NICNE), Transform Rockford, United Way of the Rock River Valley, and the Workforce Connection, it is our pleasure to announce the recipients of the 815CRT-ART funding. The 815CRT-ART grant team awarded the following organizations a total of $90,000; these funds will be directed toward COVID-related operational and programmatic losses and capacity building.
Purpose of 815CRT-ART
The purpose of the 815CRT-ART COVID-Response Fund is to provide immediate operational relief to arts and culture organizations to mitigate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The 815CRT-ART was a competitive grant application process; twelve regional organizations are receiving an 815CRT-ART award.

The 815 Community Response Team is a partnership of the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois, the Kjellstrom Family Foundation, the Northern Illinois Center for Nonprofit Excellence (NICNE), Transform Rockford, United Way of the Rock River Valley, and the Workforce Connection; the Rockford Area Arts Council is collaborating with 815CRT for this opportunity.
