|Lawyers for the Creative Arts wants to make sure that every arts organization with one or more Chicago employees is in compliance and has a clear understanding of their responsibilities under the new law.
This training will satisfy the annual training requirement for Chicago Employers and includes the two hour Sexual Harassment Prevention Training for supervisors and managers and one hour Bystander Training for all employees, plus a Q & A session at the end.
Outside of Chicago, employers with 1 or more employee in Illinois must provide 1 hour of annual sexual harassment training to their Illinois employees (including full-time, part-time and seasonal.) The Illinois Department of Human Rights and the City of Chicago Commission on Human Relations offer online trainings on their websites. While these trainings meet the minimum requirements, there is no opportunity to ask questions or get advice. You may also hire a consultant, attorney, HR professional, or training consultant to train employees and supervisors.
