Construct and Create at Discovery Center

ROCKFORD, IL – Imagination and creation take center stage at Discovery Center on Friday, August 4 for Construct and Create – the final event of the museum’s Summer Family Friday series.

Discovery Center has the materials…you bring the imagination. Choose from cardboard, recycled materials, Lego blocks, giant foam blocks, K’Nex, Thinker Linkers, and more to create and construct.

All Construct and Create activities are ongoing from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm and included with museum admission – $10/person for the Public and FREE for Members and all children age 1 and younger. Kona Ice Food Truck will be onsite from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Construct and Create is possible thanks to support from Constellation Energy and a grant from the Illinois Arts Council Agency.
