Veteran Service Memorial Committee

Saturday Only: Opening at 1 PM, ArtScene visitor’s will have an opportunity to view art made by veterans as well as veterans’ collections of military art. One of the original Tom Heflin Vietnam Veterans paintings, donated by the artist. There will be veterans’ memorabilia from the Vietnam War. There will be a band of brothers there to answer questions and available for conversation.

At LZ Peace Memorial, you can also see the Agent Orange Memorial, LZ Glory, LZ Purple, and LZ Peace, honoring our 69 men from Winnebago County who died in the Vietnam War. The Huey (The Lady) will be open to the public for this special occasion.

Coffee and Cookies will be available at LZ Smoke. No free cigars though.
