My work grows from observation, memory, and a fascination with things that change, disappear, deteriorate, or somehow endure. Working across photography, sculpture, installation, and mixed media, I explore the quiet transformations that occur over time and the stories embedded within materials.
I often use natural, found, discarded, or altered objects, drawn to their history, texture, and ability to evoke place and memory. My practice is rooted in paying close attention, allowing ordinary things to reveal unexpected meanings through sustained observation and reinterpretation.
Recurring throughout my work are pod-like forms and small contained worlds: nests, vessels, circles, hollows, oak rounds, and spaces that hold something, or once did. These forms appear again and again, reflecting an ongoing curiosity about shelter, absence, containment, and connection. While I do not always know why they emerge, they continue to guide the evolution of my work.
Through each piece, I invite viewers to slow down, look closely, and consider the beauty, mystery, and resilience found in both natural and human-made worlds.
