Callie Hunter

Writer- specializing in memoir that cultivates emotional and spiritual growth and provides mental health support
My poetry is another avenue of creativity that I love sharing at open mics (it has no rhyme- it has no reason)
Forest therapy feels like art as it is an embodiment experience. I often invite participants to become a part of the landscape and create art together using the earth as their canvas.

Writing has not only been an outlet for creativity, but in many ways, it saved me—healed me—and helped me survive an impossible time of life. I mostly use it now to reach others going through their own dark nights of the soul, but it is also a way I feel I can connect to a divine knowing.

“IN THE MIDST OF THE DEPRESSION AND THE PAIN, I KEPT LOOKING FORWARD HOPING FOR A SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM, BUT THE ANSWER WAS NEVER IN FRONT OF ME; IT WAS ALWAYS INSIDE OF ME AND INSIDE OF THE MOMENTS THAT MADE ME."
