Artist Profile

Christine McCracken

As a multidisciplinary artist and maker, I create handcrafted jewelry, sewn goods, digital artwork, and memorial pieces. My jewelry is designed with comfort in mind, particularly for those with sensitive ears, and I specialize in creating lightweight earrings using a variety of metals, including clip-on options. My sewing work includes drawstring bags for Renaissance Fair enthusiasts and tabletop gamers, decorative pillows, and custom memory keepsakes.

Creating meaningful work for others is especially important to me. For memorial artwork and sewn keepsakes honoring loved ones, I often charge only for materials, allowing families to preserve cherished memories in an affordable and personal way.

As a legally blind artist, I have experienced a gradual decline in color perception over the years, yet my passion for art and making has never diminished. I continue to explore new creative avenues through traditional and digital media, adapting my process while embracing new challenges and opportunities for expression.

My most recent digital work can be found on my Buy Me a Coffee page, while my jewelry creations are documented on Instagram. A broader collection of my artistic journey, including years of graphic design work, can be viewed at DeviantArt (deviantart.com/slayerxiena). To protect the privacy of my clients and the integrity of commissioned work, I share only a limited selection of personal commissions online.

No matter the shade or vibrance of the wind; life is worth immortalizing.
