Emmanuel Episcopal Church

Emmanuel Episcopal Church is a church community located in downtown Rockford. The gallery is located in an ADA-accessible space that has been used by the many artists in the congregation to showcase work and support the local creative community. Access to the gallery will be through the main entrance facing Park Ave.

A Life Observed: The Art of Sydney Lyon Baldwin

Sydney Lyon Baldwin was a Rockford-based artist who produced a large body of work over the course of her life until an ALS diagnosis in 2024 limited her ability to draw and paint. She leaves behind work dating back to the early 1970s; her work includes many mediums, ranging from pencils and pastels to water color and egg tempera. This show celebrates the breadth of her work spanning over 50 years.
